The Legendary small plug Ukko is now available as a 5-cm version! Karikko's 5 cm long Ukko plug is particularly favored by salmonids, but few fish can resist its movement. Ukko plugs are characterized by their strong swimming action that is engaged at a very slow speed. The action is generated by the curved shaped of the body, which almost resembles the wing of an airplane. A great all-round lure for ultralight fishing, whether you prefer trolling or casting.

Karikko’s Ukko is one of the best-known Finnish lures both domestically and internationally. The curved shape of the plug’s body was designed by Jorma “Ukko” Turunen from Joensuu, and it generates a sensitive and strong swimming action. Karikko's Ukko plugs are handmade in Finland.

Karikko was previously known as Turus. The brand changed its name to Karikko in 2022, but the products have remained the same.
