The Hybrid Shad jig was created on an ice fishing trip by Markus Huovinen, who runs the Kalastusta Pohjois-Savossa YouTube channel, when he cut off the V-shaped tail of a Small Fish jig and glued it onto the body of an Orka Shad. The prototype proved immediately to be an extremely effective ice fishing jig for larger perch and zander!
When combined with a Ruthless Ice Jig Head, Hybrid Shad swim with a side to side glide like a balance jig. The swimming action mimics a wounded prey, which provokes predators to attack the jig hard!
