Scotty Power Grip Plus 1171 is a stacker downrigger line release designed to attach to the downrigger cable. It is quick and easy to clip onto the downrigger cable when you want to run more than one rod on the same downrigger. One of the most widely used downrigger releases among active and tournament trolling anglers, it lasts for years and works reliably every time.

Adjustable tension, normal and tight (the black part is pulled backward), which provides additional clamping force when needed. Not the cheapest, but certainly very good, perhaps even the best!
